Weird Debt Collector Called "Wellington Capital Partners" Won't Leave Me Alone — Anyone Else?
So this might be a long shot, but has anyone here ever dealt with a company called Wellington Capital Partners? I started getting calls from them a few weeks ago saying I owe money on some old account, but they won’t give me any real proof or details. Just lots of pressure, veiled threats, and repeated calls even after I asked them to stop. It's honestly gotten to the point where I feel like I'm being harassed.
I’m not even sure if this debt is legit, and the way they talk to you is super shady. Just wondering if anyone else has had this kind of experience with them. Did you fight it or figure out how to get them to back off? Would love to hear if I’m not the only one. Feels like they’re crossing a line and I don’t know what my rights are in this kind of situation.
