Hey all, I’ve been running a few affiliate websites for the past couple of years and the income has finally grown to the point where I need to get my finances sorted properly. I’ve always just filed my own taxes but I’m starting to worry I might be missing things that could save me money or even worse, mess something up with HMRC.
I’m looking for a UK accountant who actually understands how affiliate income works, especially someone who’s dealt with creators or people doing online sales. A lot of the accountants I’ve spoken to seem confused when I explain what I do, or they treat it like it’s just “side hustle” money even though it’s now my full-time thing.
Has anyone here worked with an accountant who gets the online space?
