Hey everyone,
I’ve been planning an international trip and came across some confusion while checking the Air France International Baggage Allowance details — thought I’d share what I learned to save someone else the trouble.
Here’s how it breaks down by ticket type:
Economy Light: No checked bag, only 1 cabin bag + 1 personal item (max 12kg total)
Economy Standard/Flex: 1 checked bag (23kg)
Premium Economy: 2 checked bags (23kg each)
Business Class: 2 checked bags (32kg each)
La Première: 3 checked bags (32kg each)
Also, their carry-on size and weight rules are taken seriously at some airports. A friend had to check their cabin bag at the gate because it was slightly overweight — better to be cautious.
