Well, this is embarrassing. Had a great round at Sharjah Golf Club this morning, went to fire up the 570S and... absolutely nothing. No lights on the dash, no door pop, just a completely dead silence which is pretty nerve-wracking when you're sitting in a supercar. I think the battery finally gave up, probably from not being driven enough lately with my work travel. I'm in a bit of a panic because I can't exactly call a normal roadside assistance guy with jumper cables, and I really don't want some random mechanic touching the car's electronics or trying to force the frunk open. I've been searching on my phone while waiting for a coffee and trying to find an Emergency Mclaren battery service in Sharjah that might have experience with lithium-ion batteries or the specific access points on these cars. Does anyone know a specialist who can come out here with the right gear and a replacement battery? I'm hoping to avoid a flatbed truck to Dubai if possible, the whole situation is already a headache.
