When Bangladesh lost their first wicket in just the second over, it looked like Pakistan had grabbed early control of the second Test in Sylhet.
Mohammad Abbas struck immediately, removing Mahmudul Hasan Joy for a duck, and Pakistan’s pace attack kept asking questions throughout the morning session.
But cricket often turns on one innings.
This time, it was Litton Das who stood tall with a magnificent 126-run knock that dragged Bangladesh to a highly respectable 278 in the first innings.
